Upgraded to an iPhone

December 2nd, 2007

Yup’s thats right, after my previous stance I feel somewhat embarrassed, but I am truly glad I now own an iPhone.

I must admit I have my lovely girlfriend to thank for it:

Thank you!

Well I suppose I best give you my opinion of it, this is a blog after all! Hmm, where do I start.

The actual phone

The phone aspects are outstanding, flicking through contacts and now actually having a reason to put more information about them other than their phone number is truly brilliance. I can now add their address, email and website and be able to use each piece of data. I am constantly listening to music through the day as I work, so its ability to pause the music and go straight to a call with the push of one button is a real saver for those occasions I decide to play Foo Fighters a little too loud.

Maps is the best thing since sliced bread

I don’t just mean to use a common English saying, but it really is. I just so wished I had my iPhone when my girlfriend suddenly decided she wanted Burger King. We couldn’t find one for love nor money, it would of really come in handy to be able to search all of Leeds for their locations, saving us at least an hour and a half!

Seamless synchronization

It now feels fun to have my phone perfect synced with my computer (Mac), it just makes it so easy. All my contacts, bookmarks, pictures, music and videos in perfect harmony.

You really couldn’t ask for more.
