Redefining Beta

September 14th, 2008

Nobody does beta’s quite like Google, that’s a fact.

Due to an error with their comic being accidentally released early, Google has quickly released Google Chrome.

They may have rushed it but I can honestly say it is one of the best and most polished beta’s I have ever looked at.

Rendering is near perfect and with some work it will easily be on par with FireFox and Safari.

As usual Google has taken to simplicity, the toolbar is uncluttered, the tabs are on top of the browser with there own address bar and it’s super quick. The homepage is class even though it was first shown in Opera and Mozilla Labs (I’d say that’s a negative on their part that I didn’t know about it before Google Chrome).

Just hoping the Mac version is out as soon.
