Going Superhero

December 18th, 2007

Andy Clarke‘s latest offering at 24 ways is greatly inspiring, while being a semi-fan of comics I have never really made a strong connection between that and web design. As Andy points out:

A comic book panel not only acts as a container for its content but also indicates to a reader how much time passes within the panel

So by making an element bigger you are not only creating more emphasis on it but you are also indicating that the user should spend more time looking at this particular element than any others.

What is a definite is that getting a couple of comics is now high on my letter to Santa!
